In light of celebrating 250 years of America’s freedom, Northlanders will also have the chance to see the Asian Pacific Legal Experience in America at the Duluth Federal Courthouse.

The exhibit will feature the Asian Pacific Legal Experience including the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 and the Japanese American Incarceration in World War 2.

The exhibition was put together by 12 lawyers to support the legal journey of Asian Americans.

“It’s a story that will continue and hasn’t ended.  It’s had it’s darkest moments through Japanese interment and it’s had some of its brightest moments as we celebrate Asian Americans who are now leaders in all fields,” said Board Member of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Dan Lew.

The exhibit will be up through July 7th.
