College of St. Scholastica Celebrates Convocation with Alumni from Over 50 Years Ago

Alumni Welcome Freshmen to School

The College of St. Scholastica celebrated convocation Thursday in the Mitchell Auditorium.

The Saints Heritage club, which honors alumni from 50 or more years ago, gathered with students, faculty and staff, to welcome the new freshmen.

The first year students walked in to the auditorium with members of the club.

Lisa Roseth, Executive Director of Alumni Relations, said that

“Our oldest member is from the class of 1941 this year.” Said Lisa Roseth, Executive Director of Alumni Relations.

The first class for St. Scholastica was held in September of 1912, with a student body of 6 women.

Today the school has 4,340 students.
