Charges Filed in the Theft of David Haiman’s Car

Corwin was operating a vehilce previously owned by alleged murder victim David Haiman

Itasca County Attorney John J. Muhar reports on September 20, 2016, Triston Michael Corwin, appeared in Itasca county District court in connection with one count of felony Theft of a Motor Vehicle, one count of felony Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle, one count of felony Fleeing a Peace Officer in Motor Vehicle, one count of misdemeanor Driving While Impaired, and one count of misdemeanor Fleeing a Peace Officer on foot.

The charges stem from Corwin operating a motor vehicle previously owned by alleged murder victim David Haiman on June 25, 2016.

At the hearing on September 20,2016, Corwin’s case was scheduled for a continued omnibus hearing on November 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

Corwin remains released on his own recognizance subject to drug and alcohol restrictions and spot checks pending his future court appearance
