Two Adults Charged in Hermantown Drive By Shooting
Two face multiple charges after a shooting that left one injured
On Saturday, September 24, 2016 around 11:56 p.m., Hermantown Police were dispatched to the 4800 block of Oak Ridge Drive in Hermantown to a reported drive by shooting.
During the initial investigation, officers determined that several shots had been fired from a vehicle at a group of individuals who were standing in the yard of 4833 Oak Ridge Drive.
Officers have identified two adults involved in the shooting.
Robert John Lund, 46, of Duluth is currently being held in the St. Louis County Jail and will be arraigned Wednesday for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Drive-By Shooting, 2nd Degree Assault, and Possession of a Handgun by a prohibited person.
Denzel Sheldon Perrin, 20, of Superior, is currently being held in the Douglas County jail awaiting extradition to Minnesota to answer to his charges of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Drive-By Shooting, and 2nd Degree Assault.
The shooting victim is identifed as Trenton William Sampson, 20, of Superior.
