Rotary Rose Day Held in Duluth to Raise Money

The Fundraiser Has Raised Over a Million Dollars to Date

The rotary club of Duluth 25 is celebrating the 31st annual Rotary rose Day.

It’s a big fundraiser where the club distributes 5,000 roses that have been purchased by people in Superior and Duluth. The event has produced almost 1.5 million dollars to date, and raised around 50,000 dollars this time around.

“There are so many people in need across our community and across the country, and even across the world that by supporting these causes, again we’re supporting our local bases as well,” said former president of Rotary Club #25, David Mclean.

One hundred percent of the proceeds are used to benefit programs and organizations that give back to the community.
