Duluth in Running for Knight Cities Challenge

The challenge looks for different ideas that improve the community. Knight Cities will award grants across the country for the best ideas.

The Knight Cities Challenge is accepting ideas for projects that can attract talent to the area, expand economic opportunities, and improve community engagement.

The ideas will then be judged along with thousands of others to see who becomes a finalist and a recipients of a share of the funds.

“This is your chance to try something new, to try something that doesn’t necessarily have a track record behind it but has the potential for a powerful impact,” said Knight Cities Challenge project manager George Abbott.

Ideas can come from anyone including businesses and non-profits alike. All ideas must be submitted by November 3rd.
