Wells Fargo Donates 250 Books to the Duluth Public Library Foundation
Books will benefit Northland kids for years to come
Wells Fargo has gifted the library 250 new children’s books with the hope that these books will benefit Northland kids for years to come.
Today, Mayor Emily Larson joined many others at the library, celebrating the donation.
There is a lot of excitement about these new books being added to library shelves.
Patra Sevastiades, the Executive Director for the Duluth Library Foundation, said “I think that they’ll love it. I’m a parent and a grandparent and I love sitting down with a child and they’ll embrace the fact that there are more books than before.”
Parents and children at the library marked the occasion by sitting down and reading a book together knowing there will soon be plenty of new titles to pick from.
Sevastiades said “In partnership with the library, we discussed what are some of the needs and they said children’s books and so I reached out.”
The new books will hit the shelves of all three Duluth library locations very soon.
