New designs include Whitetails Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
MADISON – Two new designs are the latest additions to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s offering of specialty license plates.
Purchasing these plates includes a $15 issuance fee and a tax-deductible donation of $25 at each registration renewal.
These specialty plates are available for automobiles; motor homes (annual registration only); light trucks having a gross weight of 4,500, 6,000, or 8,000 pounds, including dual purpose motor homes; and 12,000 pound gross weight farm trucks.
Plates can also be personalized for an additional $15, for the personalized plate fee, which is required each year in addition to the regular annual registration fee.
A complete list of specialty plates is available on the DMV website.
