Two Arrested in Heroin, Crack Cocaine Bust
DULUTH, Minn. – Two suspects were detained in the 100 block of West 4th Street in Duluth, and a search warrant executed in a motor vehicle they were traveling in, according to the Duluth Police Department and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
These individuals were suspected of selling heroin and crack cocaine. During the execution of the search warrant, investigators recovered crack cocaine from one suspect, as well as in the motor vehicle they were traveling in; all was packaged for sale.
As part of an ongoing investigation, an additional search warrant was executed in the 200 block of North 12th Avenue East. Investigators located packaged heroin, scales, packaging materials, and .22 caliber ammunition.
A 32-year-old male from St. Paul is currently being held at the St. Louis County Jail on probable cause charges of 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) in a Public Housing Zone, and 3rd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance (Heroin). A 42-year-old female of Duluth is also being held at the St. Louis County Jail on probable cause charges of Aid and Abet 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) in a Public Housing Zone.
Formal charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
