UWS Multicultural Awards
Three Individuals Who Are Committed And Passionate
Community diversity is a big part of what makes UWS, UWS.
The University of Wisconsin Superior Office of Multicultural Affairs awarded students and community members for the role they played in their commitment to increasing the opportunities to diverse communities.
The community diversity award is presented to three individuals who are committed and passionate about making the world a better place through racial and ethnic diversity.
“It brings numerous opportunities and educational cultural events for the community members to partake here at this university. It’s because of this university and the diversity within the university that the cultures around the world are brought together and unite,” Student Ernesto Soto says.
The winners of this year’s awards went to Kristine Piasecki, Gary Johnson, and Will Mowchan.
