Working Out with Kettlebells

Active Adventures: Duluth YMCA

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth YMCA in downtown offers several options for exercise.

They have offerings from group classes, rock climbing, racquetball, to swimming lessons, pickleball, basketball, and much more.

For this week’s Active Adventures, FOX 21’s William Seay learned how to work with kettlebells.

Alisha Bradley, Director of Healthy Living for the YMCA, says it’s a strength training device that uses momentum for training.

Bradley says there are three main kettlebell exercises.

They are:

  • Kettlebell Swing
  • Kettlebell Clean
  • Kettlebell Snatch
