Annual USO Variety Show Honors Military Veterans

Partial Proceeds Support Honor Flight Northland

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Superior is heading back to the 1040s this weekend as the USO Variety Show is performed for the tenth year.

It’s a recreation of a USO radio show and canteen to remember the anniversary of Pearl Harbor and honor all World War II veterans.

The show is co-produced by Time Arc Theatre and Twin Ports Stage.

Featuring 1940s swing music, a performance by Bob Hope and friends, the Andrews Sisters and more will bring audience members back in time.

There will even be live commercials based on 1940s’ newspaper ads.

The WWII Live USO Variety and Canteen Show will be held at the Elks Club Saturday, December 2 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 3 at 2:00 p.m.

The Elks Club is located at 1503 Belknap St. in Superior.
