AAA Offers Multiple Tips on Travel

DULUTH, Minn.-With many of you expected to head out the door in the coming days to visit your holiday destination, one local group has some tips to avoid a lot of travel headaches.

A local representatives from AAA says that this is expected to be the busiest travel season ever, with 107 million people hitting the roads.

With that, they advise drivers to avoid going at peak times including rush hour. They also said to delegate tasks for everyone in the car.

“Another tip we like providing is making sure the driver designates someone who is the text messenger and the navigator, so all eyes and hands are on the road,” said Timothy Kreft, a AAA insurance agent in Duluth.

They also recommend downloading their app to help with travel – you don’t have to be a member to download it.

AAA says the most popular destinations this year are the warmer spots including Florida, California, and Hawaii.
