CASDA Wants to Celebrate this New Year's Eve With You by Supporting Services to Victims and Survivors of Violence
SUPERIOR, Wisc. – The Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse (CASDA) is excited to announce the 9th Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, “Behind the Mask,” will take place Sunday, December 31st.
CASDA will also be celebrating the kickoff to their 30th anniversary of serving the Twin Ports.
Tickets are $50 per person in advance, or $60 at the door.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Barker’s Island Inn, at CASDA during regular business hours or click here.
Behind the Mask Gala takes place at Barker’s Island Inn from 7 p.m.-1 a.m.
The gala will feature live music from a Superior & Duluth-based band. Other features include a silent auction, signature drink provided by Saratoga Liquor (all sales go to CASDA), light hors d’oeuvres, wine toss, mask contest, balloon drop, and champagne toast at midnight!
Formal, masquerade attire is strongly encouraged, but not required.
Guests can bring their own mask, or acquire one at the event while supplies last.
Gala guests can reserve a room at Barker’s for a special event rate of $65.
Approximately one in four Wisconsin women – or 714,000 – will be beaten, raped, or stalked by a current or former intimate partner at some point in her lifetime.
Last year, in Douglas County alone, law enforcement averaged between one and two domestic violence calls per day.
