Authorities say alcohol played a part in a crash that left a 25 year old Duluth man dead Thursday morning.Leif Chilman's truck was spotted around 7 a.m. by a passerby on Munger Shaw Road.
When deputies from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office arrived they found Chilman dead on the scene.
Investigators believe his pickup was going north when it hit the guard-rail of an approaching curve and rolled into some trees.
Authorities also say he wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The incident is believed to have happened a few hours before being reported and remains under investigation.
