DORA LAKE - A 78 year old Princeton, Minnesota man is dead after crashing his Rascal scooter.

Itasca County authorities got the call for the crash on County Road 29 in the Dora Lake area in northern Itasca County around 12:16 Saturday afternoon.

Multiple agencies responded and found Eugene Zeroth had died on the scene.

Officials say speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash that happened after Zeroth came off a Dora Lake access road into the traffic lane and went in front of another vehicle.
