SUPERIOR - Douglas County officials are notifying residents that their 9-1-1 system is out in parts of the county.

The county is experiencing a long distance phone outage that effects all service in Gordon, Wascott, Solon Springs, and Benttett.

Authorities ask that if you live in these areas and have an emergency you should call your local fire hall or go to your fire hall in person.
