DANBURY - Hundreds of volunteers are helping search for a missing girl in Burnett County.
Sheriff's officials say 3-year-old girl Renna Williams apparently wandered away from her home in Danbury about 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Danbury is about 60 miles south of Duluth, Minn. County Emergency Management Director Rhonda Reynolds says at least 500 volunteers are helping look for the girl Wednesday.
Reynolds says the search is complicated by the number of trees blown down in the area last summer.
The Duluth News Tribune reports about 50 law enforcement officers are conducting the search.
Helicopters from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Minnesota State Patrol have been used in the search.
The DNR is searching the St. Croix River and Danbury dam, which is 2 to 3 miles from the girl's home.
