SUPERIOR - Candidates have now joined the race to become Superior City Councilors.Just last week, seats were open in Districts 4 and 6 because the incumbents decided not to run again.
Since the deadline to bid, six locals have filed paperwork to fill the positions and will run in February’s primary.
"It's good to see people involved in wanting to run,” Superior City Clerk Terri Kalan said. “I think it's always good when we have an election, it shows that you know there's some concern.”
The top two candidates will face off in April’s election.
