CLOQUET - There's new information about Carlton County attorney Thom Pertler, who's still not back at work after a drunken driving charge three weeks ago.

Carlton County coordinator Dennis Genereau told Fox 21 the county board is determining if there are legal options or obligations to take against Pertler, which Genereau says includes termination.

He says the county administration has no official knowledge of where Pertler is right now or when he's coming back to work.

Pertler is accused of driving at least three times the legal limit when he was pulled over around noon in Duluth, July 17th.

The County Coordinator says there's only three attorney's handling court cases right now with Pertler gone and the other position up for hire.
