DULUTH - An update came with some uplifting news of sorts Monday for friend and former FOX 21 meteorologist Chris Snider who's battling a rare form of bone cancer known as Osteosarcoma.
Chris' family tells us the recent outpouring of support has given Chris a small comeback.
Doctors did not expect him to live through this past weekend, but he has and is even sitting up and laughing a bit.
Chris is flying home Tuesday from a Mississippi hospital. He'll be staying at his sister's house in Floodwood to live out his final days in hospice care.
The Chris Snider Benefit Account is now set up for donations to help the family with medical costs.
