DULUTH - With the drought driving up food prices, CHUM says it needs donations now more than ever.
Saturday 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., the food shelf will be hosting its annual "SHARE" food drive.
Local grocery stores in Duluth and Cloquet will be helping out. Shoppers are encouraged to donate non-perishable items.
CHUM says it's looking for peaches, pears, pineapples, peas, peanut butter and other foods people can make a meal out of.
CHUM has hosted the food drive for nearly 30 years. Last year 20,000 lbs of food were donated.
Northland Boy Scouts will be stationed at the stores to help with the drive.
