DULUTH -A unique debate happened Thursday night in Duluth involving views from Occupy Minnesota and the Tea Party.
The two groups are at the opposite spectrums of each other when it comes to issues of war, military spending, corporate
personhood, and movements in general.
Robin Washington of the Duluth News Tribune moderated the event that he calls a great opportunity to
try to respectfully try to agree on something.
"Wouldnt it be great tonight if each of these
guys actually found something in their point of view to agree on? That would be something like progress. Do I
expect that to happen? No, the sun is shining. Maybe they can agree on
that," said Washington.
Audience members also got a chance to weigh in.
