DULUTH - The Minnesota State Patrol is moving ahead with consolidating 911 call centers across the state with the Duluth location closing on Thursday.
Calls made within the area will be routed to a Roseville location.
The State Patrol has continued to close smaller branches and is starting to invest in two larger call centers.
Officials said the changeover will provide more resources at the call centers to improve service and efficiency.
Virginia's call center is set to close no later than May 1.
