DULUTH - Duluth's business community celebrated what leaders call the highest level of construction and development in the history of the city.
Roughly 1,000 people gathered at the DECC for the Duluth Chamber's142nd Annual Dinner Celebration to remember last year's accomplishments and generate optimism for the upcoming year.
Chamber President David Ross emphasized how important it is to celebrate past victories.
"There are many positive occurrences in this community and we need to draw attention to that. That's part of what we're doing tonight," Ross said.
Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak was a featured guest at the dinner, offering ways to advance both Duluth and his city.
