DULUTH-A local musician known as "Lefty" who most recently played with "The Fractals" sluggishly recovers after a long hospital visit.

On Saturday night, Lefty Sandmann's friends in music gathered at Roscoe's Bar to jam and raise money for the man slowly trying to relearn his craft after a serious stroke.
