DULUTH - Hundreds of students got to swap out their regular uniforms for ones that shared a positive message.
Duluth–Edison Charter School students wore their new "bully–free" t-shirts Friday.
Kids from the primary, elementary and junior academy were selected to have their design put on the shirts.
Teachers say the students have fun with it, but also learn an important lesson.
"You just always want to continue reinforce positive behaviors," North Star Academy third grade teacher Thereasa Hansmeier said, "and by claiming that we're bully free we're not saying 'hey you're a bully,' we're doing a positive aspect, a positive spin on it and saying ‘oh I am bully free and it's something to be proud of.'"
Each month, the schools meet for an assembly to talk more about anti–bullying.
