DULUTH - Duluth's Barnes and Noble is off the chopping block. This comes after a Wall Street Journal Report that says nearly 20 Barnes and Noble stores will be closing every year over the next decade.

Tuesday company officials told Fox 21 they have no plans to close the Miller Hill Mall location or any of their book stores in Wisconsin.

A Barnes and Noble spokesperson says the projection is consistent with previous expectations, and while there are some closings they are also testing new prototype stores as part of their concept for the long term.
