Edgewater to Use UV Rays to Clean Pool, Air

DULUTH - The
Edgewater Eater Park in Duluth will use UV rays to keep clean starting this
week.
The company
announcing today they’re investing $100,000 into this state of the art system.
It kills
microbes and purifies the air with the ultra violet rays.
Owner and
Operator of the Edgewater, Jon Driscoll, says this new technology comes after
an outbreak of cryptosporidium last month ...
"We're
in the business of building and maintaining trust, and we don't want anybody to
have any questions about whether or not it's safe for them to swim here,”
explains Driscoll, “we thought we had a terrific program before, we know we
have one now".
The edge -
also saying they'll work to educate guests on safe swimming practices.
