DULUTH - The next time you go to Burger King you can honor a local veteran.
At any Burger King in the Twin Ports you can buy a dog tag to honor the name of a local hero for just a dollar.
All proceeds will go toward building exhibits in the Veterans Memorial Hall.
"That way to show just the level of gratitude coming from the community but also to honor once again the veterans who are listed on these dog tags,” Veterans Memorial Hall Program Director Dan Hartman said. “So eventually hopefully we'll have that great hall filled with those dog tags."
The fundraiser runs for the next couple of months.
You can also buy gold dog tags for $5.
