DULUTH - Flames engulfed the porch of a single family home on Sunday night.

According to the Duluth Fire Department, crews responded to 2429 E. 2nd St. around 7 p.m.

The house was occupied by the owners at the time of the fire.

They say all the occupants evacuated safely.

Crews were on the scene for more than an hour extinguishing hot spots inside the wall and floor spaces.

There were no injuries reported during the fire.

Initial damage was estimated at $15,000 to the structure and $10,000 to its contents.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
