DULUTH - It's not often we journalists report on ourselves, but news is hitting close to home for the FOX 21 family. Former chief meteorologist Chris Snider has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.

Chris' sister, Tabatha, tells us it's a rare form of bone cancer known as Osteo Sarcoma.

Doctors found the tumor in Chris' jaw in July and started chemotherapy in October.

His family says while he's not happy about losing his hair, he's one "tough kid" who's fighting the cancer hard with the help of his faith.
