DULUTH - Free flowers helped brighten the lives of flood victims. It happened at the Plant Place outside the Miller Hill Super One Monday.
The owner of the flower shop says many of his long–time customers saw their flowers pulled away by flood waters.
So he thought why not give flowers away for free before the season wraps up.
"We recognize the faces and so to see them being able to ya know capture a little bit of summer that was taken away from them back in June from the horrible flood it makes us feel good," said Plant Place CEO Jim Schroer.
The Plant Place has been around for more than 20 years.
