CLOQUET-If the temperature and fall colors weren't enough to tell you it's autumn, this should convince you.
On Sunday Gordy's Hi–Hat closed its doors for the season.
The famous burger and shake joint employs around 60 people during the spring and summer and restaurant president Dan Lundquist says they all know it's tradition to close on a Sunday.
"Well, we've got to get through tonight first. And then, like every year, we paint everything top to bottom and clean and re–assess before we re–start in the spring," Lundquist said.
"One thing that we try to say is that for 52 years we don't do anything magical here. We just cook food the same way we've done it for 52 years," Lundquist said.
It's also a tradition to try to make it there on the last day so people were coming in from the Iron Range and even the Twin Cities to get that last fix.
