DULUTH - Low–income households are eligible to apply for help with heating and weatherizing their homes.
People at the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency said that last year 4,200 homes in Duluth were able to receive help with heating costs through the winter.
Those that meet household income and size requirements can get help with the cost of heating and ways to make homes more energy efficient.
"We do encourage people that if they feel they are income eligible, come and apply for fuel assistance," Martin Lepak from AEOA said.
More information and applications for assistance in St. Louis, Lake and Cook Counties can be found under the "links" tab.
