HERMANTOWN - Hermantown police narrowed in on some middle school students Tuesday, but not because they were naughty.
It's all part of the department's annual "Shop with a Cop."
Twenty Hermantown Middle School students met the officers at Wal-Mart, and were given a $50 gift card to shop.
"Every year we look forward to it, and it helps those kids' families and them enjoy their holiday a little bit more," said deputy chief Shawn Padden, with the Hermantown Police Dept.
The gift cards are donated every year by Bernick's.
