SUPERIOR - Skating shelters in Superior need your help making sure kids skate this season. The Superior Parks and Recreation Department is seeking gently used hockey and figure skates for kids to check out at any of their skating shelters.
"Given the economy and the emphasis on wellness and fitness and outdoor sports we would like to offer some children an opportunity or an introduction to skating who may not have the funds to buy a new pair of skates," Superior Parks and Recreation Department administrator Mary Morgan said.
Starting Monday, you can drop off skates at any of Superior's skating shelters and Play it Again Sports.
