Holiday Sale to Raise Money for St. Luke's Patients

DULUTH - Buying toys or jewelry this holiday season can help out a local hospital.St. Lukes Hospital’s deli has been turned into a gift shop for their annual holiday sale.
You can buy baked goods, jewelry, seasonal decorations and gifts.
All proceeds will be used for patient care programs and purchasing medical equipment.
"Oh we love doing it, most of the volunteers here are very dedicated and just love working with each other here,” Volunteer Service Guild Chair Elect Sharon Buchanan said. “All the things that we do and it's just a very pleasant place to volunteer."
The event raises more than $50,000 a year.
The fundraiser runs until Nov. 2, 2012.
