DULUTH - A local school got into the Veteran's Day spirit a few days early.
Students at Holy Rosary School honored local veterans during an assembly Friday.
It included members of the 148th Color Guard and a presentation on the Bong Museum.
Veterans answered questions and stressed the importance of remembering those who've served.
"They need to never forget the sacrifice that people have made so that they can go to Holy Rosary School and that you and I can have our professions and have our freedom to do what we want," said Scott Markle, education outreach coordinator at the Richard I. Bong Historical Center.
Students had the option of wearing red, white or blue as part of the celebration.
