DULUTH - A St. Louis County judge has decided to wait and hear from the Court of Appeals before moving ahead with the public nuisance case against Last Place on Earth.Earlier this month, Judge Shaun Floerke placed a temporary order that required the shop's owner to pay for two police officers to patrol the area.
The cost for those services was estimated to be more than $8,000 a week.
That order will remain in place until the decision comes through from the Court of Appeals.
If the decision is affirmed, the shop could be forced to close for one year.
