SUPERIOR - For people who still need to head outside in the cold temperatures, checking out your clothing options may be a good idea.
Experts say it is good to start close to the skin with long underwear that does not allow for much air to move through.
And when in doubt, bundle up.
"Kind of the real important rule of thumb is thicker is warmer no matter what you do and how you do it," Dave Miller from Northwest Outlet in Superior said.
People who plan on being more active outside are encouraged to have layers that do not absorb sweat and are easy to peel off as the body becomes warmer.
