PROCTOR - A local school group brought home some serious hardware from a national competition.
The Proctor High School DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) team recently took home 2nd place at this year's DECA International Career Development Conference.
This is Proctor's second year in a row they've participated in the competition.
“We were a little more prepared to be in Salt Lake and it was really cool that we could take something home because last year we didn't get an opportunity to make it that far," said Anna Swenson, a junior DECA member.
DECA prepares students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the world.
