DULUTH - A man is hospitalized Friday night after scary moments on Spirit Mountain's Timber Twister.
The Duluth Fire Department responded to a call of someone pinned in one of the cruiser cars.
Officials say it happened as a man tried to get off the ride before it came to a complete stop.
"We arrived and found a 49–year old man who had apparently tried to get off the ride before it was over and got his leg pinned between the rail and the car. We were able to dismantle the car enough to get it up off the rail and get him off to safety," said Jarry Keppers, Assistant Fire Chief with the Duluth Fire Department.
The man is hospitalized with non–life threatening injuries.
