Local and state leaders were in one room Monday night in Duluth updating each other on the flood recovery process.
The meeting included everyone from Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon, Sen. Roger Reinert, Rep. Kerry Gauthier, Rep. Mary Murphy, along with fire chief John Strongitharm and police chief Gordon Ramsay.
"One of the highlights of this for me was the tremendous cooperation to the city, county, intercity departments, fire, police, public works, utilities -- everybody worked well together," Ramsay said.
Ramsay stressed how thankful he was to not have a single death occur during such a deadly, rapidly changing, weather event that happened about one month ago.
