Soldiers in Minnesota can now receive full benefits.  Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Rep. John Kline's bill was signed into law Friday by President Obama.

The Red Bulls of Minnesota's 134th Birgade Combat Team will receive either the full amount of leave they were promised when mobilized or an equal amount.

"Changes can be made, but it shouldn't affect the people who are serving at that moment who were promised something," said Sen. Klobuchar.

This bill passed after the Dept. of Defense recently reduced the amount of post-deployment leave soldiers can receive.
