DULUTH - As temperatures dropped below zero some outdoor enthusiasts weren't so amused.
Mont Du Lac Recreation was open on Sunday despite the cold temperatures, but it postponed many of its Martin Luther King Jr. activities.
The recreation area planned to host live music and food in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
However, they still offered $10 off any lift ticket.
“The parks in good shape. The lifts are up and running. We're getting ready to get into another cold, blustery day, but we got lots of hot chocolate here too,” Michael Cameron, the general manager, said.
The hill also closed earlier because of the cold weather.
