Minneapolis - The Minneapolis City Council approved a new authority for the new Vikings stadium.
The authority will keep the stadium on a 975 million dollar budget and work out a 30-year lease with the team.
Five members will be announced next month by the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority.
They will represent the public's interest in the construction project that will cost tax-payers nearly 500 million dollars.
