DULUTH - One day after a long serving state representative Tom Rukavina announced his retirement, a new candidate is vying for his seat.

Lorrie Janatopoulos, a lifelong resident of northeastern Minnesota, announced her candidacy for State Representative for House District 6B.

Janatopoulos says she brings years of experience making things happen for seniors, low–income children and the working poor, as planning director at the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency.
