SUPERIOR - Halloween isn't even here yet but one Superior daycare is already talking Christmas. Cindy Fennessey and her staff at New Horizons Children's Center of Superior delivered about 200 toys Thursday to the Superior Fire Department and its "Toys for Tots" program.
Cindy says it's never too early to give back to your community.
"Christmas is a very important time of year ... to be able to give back to someone that might not have. And as you can see (crying), I mean, I'm a very giving person, so when the staff gets together and parents get together to make this all come true, it's great," Fennessey said.
The staff and parents of the daycare began collecting toys in March and also used $600 in bake sale money to purchase more toys.
