PROCTOR - A new playground is offering fun for every body.
The idea for the play area accessible to kids with
disabilities and without came after one Proctor couple wanted their young
daughter with spina bifida to be able to do the things other kids can do.
The project's coordinator says it's a way to bring kids
"They'll be together, they'll be friends with
each other.they'll move into the community, into schools, and so they'll be
able to interact together totally inclusive from the playground to the
classroom," says Jennifer McDonald.
The playground costs between $200-250,000 and
will be done in three phases.
